Past events - PP2016 - Leeds East / Church Fenton

Project Propeller is an annual reunion for 150+ WW2 aircrew, to which they are flown from all over the UK in light aircraft by current volunteer pilots.

It is now over for 2016 – the organisers would like to say a big thank-you to the people at Leeds East/Church Fenton, who stepped in at the last minute to save the day and who worked so hard to make it happen, to all the marshallers, firemen, refuellers, helpers & volunteers, to the RAF Salon Orchestra and Colour Squadron, singer Heather Marie, the aero-modeller, the vintage car enthusiasts and not least to the cheerful Air Cadets who made themselves indispensable.
